Meet Perseus, our resident giant and Lynda’s pride and joy. Standing an unforgettable 18.3hh, this 13-year-old Oldenburg gelding, out of a Trakehner dam, combines impressive size and presence with the kind of rideability that makes him truly special.

Perseus is an established dressage horse who has been ridden confidently through First Level test 3 and is in training Second Level and beyond. His current work includes:

• Flying changes
• Half-pass
• Shoulder-in
• Collected work
• Developing pirouette work
• Continuing to advance and refine his canter work and movements

Perseus remains in active training and continues to develop his upper-level work.

What really sets this big guy apart is his temperament. Despite standing 18.3hh, Perseus is a confidence-inspiring ride that just about anyone can enjoy—as long as you’re not afraid of heights!

Dressage may be his specialty, but he doesn’t have to spend every day between the letters. Perseus can also be ridden out on the trails, making him a wonderful partner for someone who wants an educated dressage horse they can enjoy outside the arena as well.

He is current on dental care, vaccinations, deworming, and shoeing and has been exceptionally well cared for.
