In Utero Foals

An in utero purchase from Alaska Horse Ranch provides you with the opportunity to select a foal out of the mare & stallion of your choice without any hassle on your part. The mares and stallions that we breed are chosen for their outstanding conformation, movement, character and temperament.

By purchasing in utero from Alaska Horse Ranch includes providing all care for our foals (i.e. handling, grooming, worming & ferrier) purchased through weaning at 4 months of age. All of our mares receive Pneumabort shots in their 5th, 7th & 9th month of pregnancy, with the addition of tetanus in the 9th month. All of our newborn foals receive a colostrum booster, worming and tetanus directly after birth to ensure the best start.

If you are interested in one of our young horses but would prefer not to raise one until they are ready to be started under saddle, we offer boarding for horses purchased from us until you are ready to take them.

A $2,500 deposit and a signed purchase agreement will hold the in utero foal with your name and with a live foal guarantee. You may also specify whether you would like a filly or a colt. In some cases, monthly payment plans may be arranged for the balance due.
