Equine Services at the Alaska Horse Ranch

Alaska Horse Ranch Amenities
One thing that sets us apart from other facilities is our numerous amenities.
12' x 12' Enclosed Boarding Stalls with 12' x 36' runs
Our newly built barn has full 12′ x 12′ stalls contiguous to our indoor riding arena. Fully equipped with built in automatic water and thick rubber floor mats to give your horse a comfortable place to lay down. Each stall has 24/7 remote camera access that you can easily view from home.
12 x 12 Stalls with 12 x 36 Run
Our spacious stalls feature concrete floors with stall mats, heated automatic waterers, and built-in grain tubs. Shared area includes indoor tack room and covered isles with generous tieout spaces. For your safety and convenience, our facility is equipped will a surveillance system and on-site manager.
150′ x 250′ Outdoor Event Arena
Our new outdoor event arena is completely fenced, with 8″ base, 3/4″ minus & rubber. In addition, it is set-up with irrigation for watering, and graded and dragged regularly. Perfect for hosting equestrian events. Arena rental available
85′ x 185′ Outdoor Riding Arena
Our main outdoor riding arena is fenced with Centaur Flex HTP, leveled to drain with 8″ base, 3/4″ minus & rubber. In addition, it is set-up with irrigation for watering, and graded and dragged regularly. The arena is equipped with hotwire and can be turned on for turn-out. It is usable right up until the hard winter freeze.
20 meter x 60 meter Full Outdoor Dressage Arena
Our full competition-sized dressage arena is 66’ x 198’ and located on high ground. It is crown-drained with an 8” base and topped with 3/4″ minus. Our equestrian center plans on hosting Dressage Schooling Shows in this arena. A viewing gazebo is available for the comfort of our guests.
42’ x 200’ Heated Indoor Riding Hall
Most riding lessons are started in our heated indoor riding hall. It’s big enough to walk, trot, and canter, but small enough to give riders a sense of security. It has a heated tack room and tack-up area, and it’s connected directly to the tack and feed store with an indoor viewing area as well as easy access to a full bathroom.
50’ Training Round Pen
Our custom round pen is a fully paneled, 5’ foot tall training round pen with 8” base and topped with 3/4″ minus.
Built for safety, this beefy round pen is perfect for everything from starting horses, free lunging, and more.
Eight Horse Hot Walker
Our two-directional hot walker can accommodate up to eight horses.
Keep your horses exercised when you don’t have time or warm them up before a ride.
Trail Rides
Have you been searching for an incredible location for trail riding in the Mat-Su Valley? Alaska Horse Ranch has over 100 private acres with trails and direct access to hundreds of acres more of public land. You can travel throughout the wilderness of Alaska and even the famous Iditarod trail. Alaska Horse Ranch also offers generous trailer parking for “haul-in” customers who wish to bring their own horse.
